My Journey

I fell in love with Hatha Yoga around 20 years ago. Since then I have been in my personal journey of self-development and wellness. Yoga practice helped me to recover from some health issues and to find grounding and calmness in difficult times. Sharing this experience with people around me has always been part of my way of supporting those on my path. 

Recently I decided to deepen my understanding of Yoga and actively broaden Hatha practice in a professional manor achieving a Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga, which is fully accredited by YMCA Awards and recognised by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) professional standards. Following this I am happy to begin my classes within Be You Yoga and support you in your personal journey of wellness, peace and happiness.

Mission and values

My mission is to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can reach their full potential. I believe in designing my classes to be relaxing, while still challenging and nurturing to each individual student. By doing so, I hope to create a space where everyone feels comfortable to explore their practice and reach their personal goals.

To achieve this, I place a strong emphasis on empathy and understanding. I believe in treating each student with respect and recognising their unique limits and aspirations. I take the time to get to know my students and their needs, adapting my classes to meet such and ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported.

In addition to empathy and adaptability, I also value integrity. I believe in being honest and transparent, and in maintaining high ethical standards both in my personal and professional life. I value my students trust and to feel that they can rely on me to guide them through their practice.

I believe in the power of Hatha Yoga to bring peace, balance, and wellbeing to everyone who practices it. It has been a part of my personal journey for many years, and I have seen first-hand the amazing transformative effects it can have on both the mind and the body. I am passionate about sharing this experience with others and helping people to achieve their own physical, mental, and emotional goals through the practice of yoga.

Be You Yoga with Liz is a truly special way to start the week. If you love yoga you will thoroughly enjoy and if you are new to yoga this is a very good place to start. Liz makes it easy to follow and is a lovely teacher.
